UNI Upward Bound Math & Science

Our amazing Summer Program Staff spent all week learning and preparing to to welcome our scholars for the 2025 Summer Academy!

UBMS AND are headed to Chicago to the Chicago Black College Expo!

We are so proud of our two Upward Bound Math and Science Scholars who received the Dr. Jitu and Harshida Kothari Family Scholarship to pursue an education at University of Northern Iowa next year! We are also so proud to watch UNI Educational Talent Search and UNI Upward Bound award their scholars with the Grace and Joe Hall scholarship to two additional UNI Center for Urban Education TRIO students to attend UNI! The scholarships are all for $2,250/year renewable for four years - a total of $9,000! Congratulations on all of your hard work, future panthers!

We can’t believe we are almost done with week 3 of summer programming! It’s been incredible to explore and watch our scholars grow.
