🐾📚 Missing Tegan this summer? We’ve got good news! 📚🐾

If your child is already missing seeing Tegan, Whitley Road Elementary’s beloved therapy dog, they can visit him this summer at the Watauga Public Library!

Tegan and Mrs. Ratcliff will be helping young readers build confidence and a love of books every Thursday at 1:00 PM during June and July. Children can read aloud to Tegan in a fun, encouraging, and judgment-free environment.

🍋🧁🍪 One last birthday celebration for our Whitley Road summer babies… and PTA went OUT with a sugar-filled bang! ☀️🎉

Key lime pie, mini cheesecake bites, gourmet cupcakes, frosted brownies, and a double stuffed cookie cake that absolutely disappeared 😆💕

We wanted to end the year celebrating our amazing staff members with something extra sweet because they deserve every bit of it and more. Thank you for pouring your hearts into our students all year long. We hope you feel loved, celebrated, and spoiled today! 🥹💛

A HUGE thank you to Acquario Italian Seafood for absolutely blessing our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!!! 💙🍝☀️

They generously DONATED lunch for our entire staff, and it was incredible. From the delicious pasta and crisp caesar salad and thoughtful kindness behind it all… our teachers and staff felt so loved and appreciated today. 🥹

It means so much to our school community when local businesses step in to support the people who pour into our kids every single day. Teachers work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, and gestures like this truly make them feel seen and valued.
