Five Loaves, Two Fish Kitchen

Our Five Loaves Two Fish Kitchen was blessed today with a $30,000 grant from Mat-Su Health Foundation! Their organization has been a major supporter of our Kitchen Ministry since we first started construction on our DEC-approved facility in 2014, and they have been with us every step of the way ever since! So many clients of our partner agencies and community friends have received our weekly meals over the years, and because of the generous support from our grantors, as well as from so many of you, we hope to continue this vital ministry for many years to come!

Thank you to all the members of our Good Shepherd community who braved the horrific windstorm to attend our Holiday Pancake Breakfast yesterday! We so appreciate the huge crew who either helped decorate, cook and serve food, and clean up afterwards, along with all who donated funds and/or items for the fabulous silent auction put on by Greta Hixon. Another Thank You also goes to our Santa and Mrs. Claus (Rick and Mari Cavens) for delighting our kids and all of us, too! Most importantly we so value those of you who came to support our ministry, especially on a day when the weather was so challenging! Together we continue to make a difference for our community!

This is a fundraiser to support our Five Loaves Two Fish Ministry which provides nutritious meals to hungry clients of our partner agencies each week.
