💥Hit and Run- June 8 @ 3:45pm, Parks/PWH💥

Officer Hartmann is seeking the public's help locating the driver of this vehicle regarding a hit and run that occurred on the Parks Highway, just before the Palmer-Wasilla Highway intersection, on June 8th at approximately 3:45PM. The vehicle appears to be a dark green '90s GMC truck with a matching topper with resulting front end damage from the collision. These are the only photos we have of the vehicle. Another scam is making its rounds via text.

Don’t fall for it!

Andddd another scam is making the rounds. This time it’s fake “traffic notice” texts trying to get people to click links or pay fines.

Just a reminder, we are not going to text or call you about outstanding traffic citations or demand payment over the phone. If you get one of these messages, don’t click anything. Delete it and move on with your day.

These scammers are getting more convincing, so please double check before responding to anything that feels off.
