The Mat-Su borough is asking for help producing masks and face shields. We fired up our 3D printer but only have a limited amount of filament on hand. If you you have any PLA or PETG that you would like to donate to the cause please drop it by during our regular business hours. The color of the filament doesnt matter.

We are waiting to hear back from the Helpers Hub if they want fully assembled shields or just the 3D printed section. Assuming they are looking for fully assembled units we could also use more clear plastic dividers like you would use in a 3 ring binder. This is what is used for the actual face shield portion. Adhesive foam would help with the wearers comfort if available but isnt required for functionality.
