South Strabane Township

It certainly looks pretty, however all of our departments have been working hard to handle the significant snowfall received overnight.

The US National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA called for the possibility of lake effect snow bands, and South Strabane Township has been host to one sitting on top of us for the past ~10 hours! Reports are anywhere from 6-8” of snow.

The Department of Public Works has been working tirelessly to keep up with the snowfall and will continue through its completion. South Strabane Fire Department and South Strabane Township Police Department have been busy with incidents ranging from vehicle accidents to traffic signals completely obstructed with snow.
