Last evening, Chief Cramer participated as part of WCDPS - Washington County Department of Public Safety’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during this drill of not only Washington County, but our region’s emergency preparedness.
Not every rescue involves flashing lights and sirens.
This afternoon, South Strabane firefighters and police officers teamed up to rescue eight ducklings that found themselves trapped in a storm drain at the Old Mill shopping center. After a little teamwork (and some encouragement from a very concerned mama duck), all eight ducklings were safely reunited and on their way.
Just another day serving our community… one quack at a time. 🦆
