We started our spring planting season with more than fresh plants, we also have a new name- 💜

What is Verstead? It is a name curated from a beloved plant, Homestead Verbena, grown in my family’s gardens for generations. Combined, the root words roughly mean “true(ver) place(stead)” , which is what each design is meant to be- true to its unique place and vision.

In all that I do, I try to pay homage to seasons past, and I knew this would be the plant to inspire this change. If you did not know, my flower farm, is named for the lane that I grew up on and this pairs well with that same vibe.

What will change? Nothing will be changing in our process, beyond our name. We will continue to offer all that Michele and Kim originally established with Snapdragon Designs.

Our new logo has been thoughtfully designed and hand painted by my talented friend, . While new, it also honors the previous logo with the element of watercolor and having been painted by a talented friend.
