This week, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposed to change Endangered Species Act protections for grizzly bears in the Lower 48 states, while leaving open the door to a future proposal to delist the species from federal protections all together.

We cannot allow USFWS to remove federal protections from grizzly bears right now. There are only about 2,000 grizzly bears left, living in small, segmented and isolated populations and occupying just 6% of their historic range.

Any official who tries to make the case that grizzly populations are currently large enough and can sustain increased mortality is overlooking the facts. Please stand with us and tell USFWS to keep grizzly bears protected!

Did you know that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires that pesticides be tested on dogs?

The experiment often involves forcing a tube down the throat of dozens of dogs every day for 90 days in a row, forcing them to ingest the pesticides. If any of the dogs have not yet died from the toxic effects of the pesticides by the end of the experiment, they are killed. Beagles are typically used because of their gentle, trusting nature 💔
