Lessons from the Field: Overcoming Transportation Barriers in Supporting Kinship/Grandfamilies - Grandfamilies & Kinship Support Network Kinship/grandfamilies have a well-documented need for reliable and affordable transportation.

Champion Tip of the Week: Make plans to connect. Social connection supports mental and emotional well-being, whether through community groups, volunteering, or time with family and friends. Who will you connect with this ?

Applications are still open for Grandfamilies & Kinship University (GKU), a leadership program for kinship caregivers.

If you are a grandparent, an aunt, an uncle, an adult sibling, an extended family member, or a close family friend raising a child, this program is designed for you.

You will receive training, support, and funding to help you grow as a leader and support others in your community.
