This morning 22 groups within the larger and network, blocked traffic and disrupted business as usual in DC rush hour traffic.

My group, Immigrant Justice, stood in front of the ICE building to demand the decriminalization of migration and the abhorrent practice of separating families seeking asylum at our border.
•
US climate policies perpetuate climate injustice, with the US directly effecting climate change by emitting more greenhouse gases than any Latin American country, and subsidizing the fossil fuel industry which practices are destroying our earth.

We also stood with healthcare workers and to protest the medical deserts being created in SE DC by closing the last hospital east of the anacostia and leaving wards 7 & 8 behind in healthcare by offering NO OB-GYN services.
