The world lost an absolutely incredible man today. And I’m absolutely heartbroken. Even though I never worked with him directly, I can confidently say Grant was everything you wanted a cop to be. He was intelligent, hilarious, caring, selfless, and humble. He will be remembered for all the incredible work he did in California to give law enforcement a voice. I shared many laughs with Grant over the years! And even while looking cancer directly in the face, he was positive, charismatic, and upbeat… he never changed or let the cards life had dealt spoil his hand. Whenever I’d text Grant to check on how he was doing with treatment, he’d brush it under the rug and immediately ask how I was doing to make sure I was okay… that’s who Grant was. And the world is a darker place without him in it. Love you buddy. Now you can be my partner every day like we so often joked about!! **kcancer
