Today, I am wearing my purple tie for two reasons, to celebrate the life of my inspirational and strong little cousin Munch and, in recognition of . Alzheimers is a disease that continues to run ramped, impacting the lives of millions across the globe, including those who step into the role of caretaker for the inflicted individual. While much research continues to be conducted to hopefully find a cure for this disease, no cure has been found as of yet meaning there is much more work to be done to achieve this critical objective. As someone who lost a grandmother to this disease, seeing this disease disappear and no longer cause suffering for individuals and their loved ones is very personal for me.
