Congress should consider small-business exception to internet sales tax Members should listen to the concerns of their constituents and exempt small businesses from the internet sales tax.

“Michigan has instituted what is called a ‘bright line’ standard. But this ‘bright line’ really isn’t that bright at all. The threshold for sales and activity is far too low and inclusive to help relieve the burden of collecting and remitting sales taxes.
