Merry Christmas from my team to yours. I’m grateful for this team and for each of you. Wishing you a joyful holiday and a bright, healthy start to the new year. Thank you for being part of our community.

This moment is bittersweet. I’m proud of the work I’ve done on the DC Council to deliver results. Together, we’ve fought for – and delivered on – affordability, public safety, and making Washington DC a leading city for the future.

But that work is not done, and I’m committed to continuing our work, together, in new and meaningful ways. I’ll have an announcement about my plans in the near future and, when I do, the people of DC will hear from me personally and directly.
