NEW BLOG POST..."What Working with My First International Client Taught Me"
From local ex*****on to global impact.
Working with my first international client taught me more than how to plan an event across time zones it taught me how growth truly shows up in business.
In less than 30 days, I led a high‑level corporate event with tight timelines, late‑night meetings, trusted vendor partnerships, cultural awareness, financial readiness, and a reputation built long before this moment arrived.
Flexibility wasn’t optional.
Preparation wasn’t negotiable.
Excellence was the expectation.
This experience reminded me that global growth isn’t just about geography, it’s about mindset, discipline, and being willing to stretch beyond what’s familiar.
When you’re open to adapt, anchored in integrity, and committed to standards, your business can go anywhere.

If you know me, you know my heart lives in the Bahamas. So when my client said they wanted to celebrate their birthday there, I was already smiling from ear to ear. Planning in my favorite place? Say less.
This was full‑service event planning from start to finish, and we were intentional about elevating hospitality every step of the way. Before guests even packed their bags, we sent out a detailed “Know Before You Go” guide covering travel, lodging, and ground transportation so everyone felt prepared and cared for.
We also created a dedicated WhatsApp group for guests to reach our events team with questions. What we didn’t expect was how beautifully it would evolve; guests began sharing their own photos, giving the birthday honoree a gallery of candid memories to download and treasure. They even used the chat to coordinate meetups during downtime, turning strangers into vacation friends.
To keep everything seamless, we partnered with a local taxi company for coordinated ground transportation, ensuring guests arrived at each event safely and on time. And behind the scenes, my team and I had our own internal WhatsApp group to stay connected and keep operations running smoothly.
Thoughtful communication isn’t just a detail; it’s a hospitality tool. And when used well, it transforms an event into an experience.
