The Complete Meisner-Based Actor's Training

Hey everyone - thanks for checking out the page. Just checking in to say that all is well over in Meisner Training land - working one on one with students quite a bit these days and doing about 1/3 of the sessions via Skype! Feel free to make contact if you would like to explore the training possibilities.

The Advanced Group will probably be working with Director/Instructor Robert in coming weeks to work on new material to be performed or filmed once completed. This way of working, developing material and then creating final script out of it is one of my favorite ways of working with actors. I write for and with the actors and then direct accordingly to create the final product.

If you're interested in how this process has been used in film, it's most exemplified by British Director Mike Leigh who works this way on almost all of his films, improvising with the actors and then creating script out of the recorded improvs.
