This door was one of those immediate YES moments. Turns out it has one of the only Bamboo buildings stateside out back!

This colorful facade is nestled in the Park View neighborhood in NW DC. Grab a coffee at and take in the beautiful murals by local talent.

Woodridge is a NE DC neighborhood cozied up to the Maryland line. The DC Office of Planning outlines a long history of blues and jazz in Woodridge stemming from Archie Edwards Barber Shop. The barber shop has moved and Archie has passed but there are Saturday jam sessions and a Blues Heritage foundation keeping the acoustic blues tradition alive that was fostered in this neighborhood. Patrons of and can find both craft beer and artisanal chocolate in Woodridge...with much more in the horizon, we’re sure 🍺 🍫
