Have you heard of the 7-day festival of Kwanzaa? 🤔

Kwanzaa is a cultural festival celebrated primarily in the United States from December 26th to January 1st each year. ⭐

Dr. Maulana Karenga created this holiday in 1966 to honor African heritage in African-American culture, offering a time for reflecting on the community's African roots and values.

Kwanzaa is a cultural holiday that includes songs, dances, African drums, storytelling, poetry reading, and a large traditional meal. On each day of Kwanzaa, a candle is lit on the Kinara, which holds seven candles. Three red candles on the left, three green on the right, and a black candle in the center. Each candle presents one of the seven principles. Would you like to learn more about this holiday?
