AMIQT Medical Rotations
07/16/2026
Medical student Dayna Reese completed a four-week intensive clinical rotation in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Neurology. She is expected to graduate this winter from the University of Pittsburgh Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
During this rotation, Ms. Reese gained comprehensive clinical experience in patient care, including obtaining medical histories, performing neurological examinations, developing diagnostic assessments, and formulating management plans under the supervision of a board-certified neurologist. She also participated in inpatient rounds on the stroke unit, further enhancing her exposure to the evaluation and management of patients with acute neurological disorders.
