The State Department and are excited to announce our call for nominations for the 2025 U.S. APEC Science prize for Innovation, Research, and Education (ASPIRE) competition. This yearβ€˜s prize is centered around the convergence of AI and biotechnology. These two fields have already generated groundbreaking innovations, such as AI-assisted drug discovery for rare disease diseases, for Americans and others around the world.
We look forward to receiving nominations! The nomination, criteria, and contact for application form, due by June 20, can be found here: https://www.state.gov/2025-u-s-aspire-competition/. Candidates must be U.S. citizens under the age of 40 and can be U.S. government affiliated or non-government.
