🚨 The World Food Programme (WFP) is mobilizing to help families affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.
Late Wednesday night, two powerful earthquakes struck nearly 40 seconds apart — a 7.2 magnitude foreshock followed by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest earthquakes to hit the country in a century.
More than 100 people have been killed, thousands have been injured and entire communities are now facing the difficult road to recovery.
When disasters strike, food is one of the most immediate needs. WFP is on the ground supporting emergency response efforts.
