SAIS Development Society

Dear SAISers,

SAIS Development Society is looking for a *second-year* student to join its leadership team for the upcoming academic year. This would be a fun, low-commitment way to get involved in and build your network in the development sector. In the past, we have successfully organized panel discussions with SAIS alumni and career treks to institutions such as the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and we look to organize a host of other fun activities this year!

Please apply by Friday, August 23. Don't forget to mention in your e-mail whether or not you will be available to help us out at the SAIS Orientation Club Fair on Friday, August 30. Note that you DO NOT have to be an IDEV concentrator in order to apply.

Another success!

SAIS Development Society organized a panel discussion and breakout session today with SAIS alums currently working at the World Bank Group. Nineteen participants had the opportunity to get an insider's perspective of the employee skill-sets, the organizational structure and the recruitment process of the WBG. Practical advice for international students and networking tips were shared.

SAIS-DC students, you are invited to a panel discussion and breakout session with SAIS alumni currently working at the World Bank Group. This event will take place on Friday, March 29th from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, in the SAIS-DC campus.

The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM on Friday, March 22.
