Form & Fire

Garden roses like these give me about one day of mad, intoxicating beauty and fragrance. Some of these are already fading from the summer heat. Still, I stop to admire them every time I pass. Grow roses. They're worth the thorns.

Today we got roses, dill, hydrangea, pink snowberry, and not much else! July in the garden.
