15 years after gaining independence, South Sudan continues to face conflict, humanitarian challenges, and an uncertain path toward lasting peace.

This Thursday, the Partnership for Effective Peacekeeping will examine the evolving relationship between South Sudan and the UN Security Council, the impact of constrained funding, and what ongoing violence means for the future of peacekeeping.
