Faculty Publication Spotlight!
We are excited to share Observed Correction: How We Can All Respond to Misinformation on Social Media, a new book by CCT professor Dr. Leticia Bode and co-author Emily K. Vraga of
This timely work explores how witnessing public corrections of misinformation online can improve how people understand complex issues. Their research shows that even simple corrections, when observed by others, can have lasting impact. This is a must read for anyone interested in creating safer, more informed online spaces.
Dr. Bode is a central figure in the CCT program at Georgetown, where she is teaching Content Analysis this fall. She also serves as the inaugural research director of the Knight-Georgetown Institute. Her research focuses on how media technologies shape political knowledge and engagement in evolving information environments.
