The symposium this morning covered possible selves, hopes and fears associated with chronic illness, death, dying, and end of life. Our presenter's research sparked a rich and informative discussion around both research and clinical care at end of life. Congratulations to our speakers, most of whom were graduate students!

Highlights from yesterday's lecture by the 2024 Baltes Distinguished Research Award recipient Dr. Manfred Diehl who covered his work on self-representations and awareness of age-related changes as avenues to understand the aging person. Also pictured is 2025 recipient, Dr. Susan T. Charles. Congratulations to both for outstanding work!

Highlights from the symposium presentation earlier this afternoon honoring the legacy of Dr. Victor Molinari. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as presenters, colleagues, friends, and family of Dr. Molinari shared their experiences. Dr. Molinari is truly a pioneer in clinical geropsychology whose impact cannot fully be captured in just one short hour. He will continue to be loved and missed.

Museum and Munching with Mentors was SO much fun! Meow Wolf is a magical, whimsical, and sometimes amusingly confusing, emersive experience. If you have a chance to go during your time in Denver, it's a great way to take a break from convention activities and connect with others!

Thank you to all of our mentors and mentees for participating in the Division 20 Mentoring Program this year! We hope to see you again next year.

Highlights from the much-needed Skill Building Presentation on reducing ageism this afternoon. Thank you to our presenters and all who attended and participated to make this a rich learning experience!

Learning from peers is one of the best parts about the APA Convention. Here's a picture from the session earlier today titled, "Advice from undergrad researchers: stay persistent!"

Stay persistent indeed! Congratulations on a great presentation!

It's almost time to Museum with the Mentors! The Division 20 Mentoring Program is having our annual outing soon. First up is a social hour at Raices Brewery from 4-5:45 followed by a prompt meeting at 5:50 at Meow Wolf! Please be sure to be on time for Meow Wolf as we have to enter the exhibit as a group.

Note that the museum is about 1.6 miles away from the Colorado Convention Center, so plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time toarrive on time, as the group needs to enter the museum together. This is
about a 7 min car ride or 32 min walk from the main convention area.

Pre-registration was required, however, if you're interested in one-on-one mentoring as an undergraduate, graduate, or early career professional OR if you'd like to be a mentor in the program, please contact us for more information!
