💢 HOW DOES THE E-A-T WORK?

As we wrote in a previous post about YMYL: The main criterion without which algorithms don't even consider a page is E-A-T (Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness). Let's look at each criterion separately:

1️⃣ Expertise

Writing content is not enough; you must check it thoroughly, make it user-friendly and of high quality, and don't forget to answer questions. It will be a massive plus if you publish certificates. For example, suppose this site is on medical topics. In that case, it is necessary to publish only official information and only written by a medical practitioner.

2️⃣ Authoritativeness

Reputation (or authority) is the second component of E-A-T. Google assessors always check the author of the content in a specific field. He may be an expert in his field, but without authority, his level of credibility declines. You must write books, blog, and participate in conferences to get credibility. If you plan to write expert articles for websites, think about authority in advance - a good option is to get reviews from already reputable authors.

3️⃣ Trustworthiness

The last point, it's pretty simple. To earn the trust of Google, you need to avoid posting untrustworthy or erroneous content. In addition, creating a user-friendly feedback system is desirable so that users can share their opinions and experiences after reading the content.
