To safeguard U.S. innovation and protect our national security, Chairman Congressman John Moolenaar introduced the Securing Innovation and Research Act (SIRA). The legislation prohibits federally funded research partnerships with restricted foreign adversaries, restricts the sharing of sensitive dual-use research, and increases transparency and oversight to prevent foreign espionage and technology theft.
