On the sixth anniversary of John Lewis’ passing, we honor his life, his legacy and his tireless fight for justice, equality, and the right to vote.
John Lewis understood that our democracy only works when every eligible voter can make their voice heard. We must continue his legacy of good trouble, because the fight for the future every American deserves is far from over.

It was great meeting with the Douglas Forest Protective Association (DFPA) to discuss the state of wildfire protection in Oregon, the importance of Secure Rural Schools funding to our communities and public lands and how we can work together to improve their infrastructure. With our wildfire seasons getting more severe, it’s important we are all as prepared as possible to protect our forests and communities.
