Good news, Delaware! The House Health and Human Development Committee voted yes on making mental health care fair and accessible in Delaware ✅

SB 22 limits prior authorization and requires insurers to use only high-quality, transparent , clinical guidelines to make coverage decisions for mental health care. The Committee passed the bill unanimously!

Sincere thanks to Sen. Bryan Townsend and Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown who sponsor the bill, and to our own David Lloyd, who testified at the hearing.

SB 22 continues to move through the state legislature, and the momentum is growing! Together, we can deliver fair standards in mental health care for the people of Delaware. The bill has a groundswell of support.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and policymakers across the country are stepping up to support this issue like never before. 🏆

In a powerful bipartisan effort, Inseparable’s Mental Health Caucus members Senator Byron Pelton (R) and Representatives Kyle Brown (D) and Lindsay Gilchrist (D) championed HB 26-1002 to strengthen Colorado’s mental health workforce. Passed last month, the legislation requires insurers to maintain accurate provider directories, speed up credentialing, and reimburse supervised pre-licensed providers, helping more Coloradans access in-network care.

Progress is possible when we put mental health first. Let’s celebrate this bipartisan win and keep pushing for accessible care nationwide. 🫂💜
