Heavy storms and intense rainfall have triggered widespread flash flooding across several areas of New Jersey, overwhelming drainage systems and turning roads into rivers.

Fast-moving floodwaters are rushing through streets, under bridges, and across major roadways. Multiple vehicles have been stranded or submerged as water levels rise rapidly.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency — urging all residents to stay indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and NEVER drive through flooded roads.
