Wishing the rest of this foundation magically shows up soon. One of our current projects sitting idle. Not the most ideal situation. This is one of the many challenges when working directly with a homeowner who is overseeing the job site and contractors. IMO it is usually better for everyone when the builder takes on the entire scope of work. Typically they have relationships built with other subcontractors that will help expedite and get to the end goal quicker and easier. It’s not always in everyone’s cards, so you gotta roll with the punches. This one’s got about a little over three weeks of labor into it with hopefully another three more to bring it to the finish line. Swinging a hammer is the easy part. It’s the behind-the-scenes stuff that’ll really make or break a good project.

Another couple of decks down for the year. Completely rebuilt, both upper and lower decks. Added a new EDM roof to the three season room. A mix of decking in espresso and ash wood with some railing system and of course the the treatment. Plenty of space to entertain on the pond.
