The Rescue Kids

My Rescue Kids, we bid you farewell! The time has come for us to leave the rescue behind. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with all of you to become the future of dog rescue and ownership. I am so grateful for all of the kids and parents that helped create a very unique and amazing community. Your smiles and willingness only made the rescue world better and my heart beat. Tina, Brittney, Cherie, Alyssa and all of the wonderful people that helped. I love you and appreciate you for helping me drive this thing to fruition. Although I am saying goodbye, it is only as a rescue. You will all remain in our hearts and we hope to keep these friendships forever. We as people will continue to help our friends in rescue and promise that will never stop. We leave you in tears, of both sadness and joy, knowing that we did so much as a family. I will never forget the day Tina and I came up with this concept, I sang "Something tells me I'm into something good" by Hermans Hermits all day because I believed this was so amazing and it became more than I ever imagined in the short time we had. We leave you with smiles and so many great memories and accomplishments that we share. We now send you love and real hugs and good vibes because all of you are in our heart and today I can say, like I always have......We are Grateful Doggies...

Let's see some creativity with sidewalk chalk! Get chalkin' and post a picture here before this MONDAY at noon. The only requirements are that your artwork is about dogs and that you are a dog lovin' kid between the ages of 4 to 14.

Our family will choose 5 finalists and then the public will vote for the winner here on Facebook!

Today The Rescue Kids did an amazing job learning about our available dogs and wanted to share their thoughts about them by making posters describing the dogs. What a great group of young kids.
