Johnson County Courthouse Weddings

Yesterday, may have been a very windy Saturday, but it was picture perfect for a wedding outside! Rachel and Curtis got married at Blind Boone Park, where the bride and her friends decorated the gazebo earlier in the day. The groom was kept away until all was ready. The beautiful bride was escorted by her father up the long sidewalk to her very happy groom. Both sets of parents were in attendance along with friends of the couple. It was a lovely time with an equally lovely couple!♥️🌹🍾🥂

This morning, I had the sweetest wedding in the office! Second wedding for each of them and the smiles on their glowing faces made me so happy to be a part of their wedding. All the best that life has to offer for their happy future together!

Last Friday, the 1st, we had a wedding at the Courthouse that was so much fun! The couple were both USAF and most everyone in the group were also USAF! Had a lovely break in the weather for an outdoor ceremony. And on Saturday, we had a wedding at Blind Boone Park gazebo. Again, the weather cooperated, the decorations were perfect and family was able to attend from Jefferson City and northern Michigan! Everyone seemed to enjoy the wedding and the warm temperature.

This afternoon, a delightful couple from Warrensburg got married and I had the best time, because they were so very cute! They each had been married before and just wanted a "simple ceremony". They were also fitting the ceremony in between duck hunting, work, picking up kiddos from school and picking up her ring! Full day for them and they made it so much fun and so joyful! Congrats!!

This week has been really busy at the Courthouse, we got through the election yesterday and have had two weddings! The first wedding was for a couple that had the entire office in stitches! They were cute and they were so funny. Even their witnesses were a hoot.
The couple today were so nervous that they made me smile. The beautiful bride is an MP on base and her groom is moving here from Alabama.
