I posted a couple months back that I would be taking a little time off to compete in Germany with my miniature poodle, Zuppa. Many of you wished me well and I wanted to let you know we had a great experience. Our team got first place in one of the events! Here is a video of our run. On a side note, in Germany it is against the law to shave a dog’s whiskers. So, I had to let my poodle’s face grow out. I ended up really liking it and may keep her this way for a little while.
Some of you know I’ve competed in dog agility for several years with my miniature poodles. This year Zuppa and I tried out for a AKC team that will represent the USA in Germany this summer. We were one of the lucky few that were chosen to be part of the team!
I’m sharing this news because it will affect my June/July schedule. I will do my best to keep appointments consistent but some will either need to go a week early or 1, maybe 2, weeks later than normal.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!
