This week, members of the Warren Police Department Honor Guard traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in events honoring our nation’s fallen law enforcement officers during National Police Week.
Our Honor Guard had the distinct privilege of es**rting surviving family members of fallen officers to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Candlelight Vigil, standing beside them as thousands gathered to honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Today, on National Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in the line of duty protecting their communities. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we remain steadfast in honoring their legacy while supporting the loved ones they left behind.
National Police Week serves as a powerful reminder of the courage, service, and sacrifice demonstrated by law enforcement officers across this country.
