The Continuing Education Scholarship is here to support members pursuing college, trade school, certification programs, career training, and more because learning doesn’t stop after high school. 💚

We’re awarding up to five scholarships totaling $5,000 to nontraditional students and individuals returning to school after a hiatus.

To apply, applicants must:
✔️ Be an Extra Credit Union member
✔️ Be enrolled at an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational school
✔️ Plan to attend at least part-time (6 credit hours)

Your application portfolio should include:
📄 Two recent letters of recommendation
📄 Resumé
📄 250-500 word essay
📄 Community and/or school involvement list
📄 Completed application

Essay topic:
“What difference do you want to make in the world and how does your career choice help you make a difference in the world?” ✨

Applications are open now through June 30, 2026.

We recently visited and read “How Do You Spend”, an MCUF-supported Money Smart Kids Read book for April.

After the story, each child received two carrot cut-outs they can redeem for Extra Credit Union swag 🥕—a fun way to bring early money lessons to life!
