Heat race result!

Ev 1-2 in the heat starting 6th in the a main! Second mwt this year second a main! Heck yeah!!

Maddie 3-3 in hers once she figured out the line she wasss coming! Very fast race car. We are starting 3rd in the b. Praying for a transfer to her first mwt a main!!

About that time!

Great starting positions for both heats tomorrow morning! Let’s do this!!

4 short days away and we will be on the road for stop number 2 of Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series!

We are headed down to the world famous bull ring Mac-O-Chee QMRA!

This is a short track and super unique! It will present a challenge to both drivers and handler! We haven’t driven something quite like this place in fast stuff! Wish us luck!!

Race weekend recap!

Everett had himself a weekend in his animal!!

Friday night fury #1! We weren’t really planning to race this mini series because Maddie has gymnastics on Fridays and it conflicts. Well meme jumped in and said nope I’ll pick Maddie up and let Everett race! That we did!

Jr Honda - we didn’t have much time with no plans of racing i had a way too loose setup in the car for the heat. We basically dropped the gate on the trailer and raced. Onto the feature I made a change to tighten the car up but unfortunately missed on gearing a bit. Finished 2nd

Jr animal - car was wicked fast again! Heat race he started 3rd. He was trying to find his way around the 2 car who was also trying to find his way around the 1 car. The 2 car spun the 1 car putting Everett to the front. He checked out from the field and won the heat! Onto the feature! 2 car was all over him on the restart but once his car came in he checked out again bringing home his first competitive win!!

Saturday!!

Maddie sr Honda - We came into this weekend with some data running some new stuff with setup. We were fast but inconsistent with the car being tight and driver having to man handle it! We ended up striking out of the heat spinning a car trying to get by them. Maddie was super bummed but she is still learning so much in a very deep sr Honda field! Onto the feature she started 8th. We just missed on setup along with a 11 car restart mishap where a car jumped Maddie’s left rear leaving her with a flat. We changed the tire but car was not happy at all. Again we were fast but inconsistent with Maddie having to drive the car so hard. We ended up finishing 8th.

Everett jr Honda - heat went 2-3 got shuffled back in the restart and just didn’t have the car to make the move! On to the feature or should I say heartbreak. 😞 drivers got 1 to go to start the race and the one and two car got into each other under caution and Everett had nowhere to go. Very weird wreck but we bent just about everything on the right front of the car. So we did not finish.

Everett jr animal - we drew the pole in this car and never looked back. Absolute rocket ship in the heat. And again in the feature. I kept saying Everett was driving pi**ed off! He absolutely was and was not going to have that race go any other way than it did. I haven’t seen him that locked in in a race car.

Overall very proud of our team this weekend and what we were able to accomplish. We still have work to do and that’s what makes this sport so fun! Chasing more speed!

Up next is stop number 2 of Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series at Mac-O-Chee QMRA next weekend!! We are pumped to race this super unique track!
