U.S. Army Garrison-Detroit Arsenal

The Detroit Arsenal held a 2.5 mile run/walk Friday, June 12, 2026 in celebration of the Army's 251 birthday. 155 registered participants, 17 volunteers and a lot of fun.

The Detroit Arsenal would like to congratulate Bill Giezie on his selection as Deputy Garrison Manager. Giezie has more than 33 years experience serving in installation management and senior leadership positions.

In his capacity as Deputy Garrison Manager, Giezie serves as the principle advisor and principle deputy to the Garrison Manager, exercising authority over installation-wide management and operational decisions.
