We’re sad to say goodbye to Anne, after 30 years with Midway she will be moving to be with her kids and grandkids. We’re so happy for her, but so sad to be seeing her go. Please feel free to stop by and say your goodbyes to her, her last day will be this Friday July 3rd ❤️❤️❤️

What is Giardia? How does my dog get it? Can I get infected from my dog?

Giardia is a parasites that lives in the intestines of animals and people

It can cause: Diarrhea, vomiting, gas, nausea and stomach pain

It is possible for a pet to be infected and spreading giardia while having no symptoms

It is spread by ingesting f***s contaminated with giardia eggs, that includes playing on infected ground and ingesting contaminated soil or drinking water that is contaminated

Giardia doesn’t usually clear on its own and needs to be treated with medications

It is unlikely for a person to get giardia from a cat or dog as the type of giardia both cats and dogs get are specific go each species

Giardia can live for months in cool, wet ground or in water
