Calling all St. Anne football alumni. We need your support... WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR MONEY!. We need you to come out Saturday morning and cheer on the Eagles in their 1st round playoff game. This is our only home game. BFC @ 10 AM. Please tell your friends and teammates.
On Friday, St. Anne won the C Division and is the #1 seed in the palyoffs. The game was at OLL and their fans were fired up. Just before kickoff the rain stopped so the Eagles brought the Thunder and won in dominating fashion 37 -12. The kids played great and look forward to the 1st round of playoffs. This is a special group of kids that started together in 3rd grade. The 1st achievement was winning the 3rd grade flag league in the rain. Since then they've had 2 undefeated season, a rough 7th grade season and now they are trying to finish their St. Anne (2 from St. Thecla) run with a championship. There are only 14 of them but they are all good footballer players that work very hard. Keep in mind they can't do defense against offense, no scout teams or even goal posts to pratice with. If you are a football fan and/or a St. Anne fan, you need to come out to Bishop Foley on Saturday morning at 10 am to see them play the first round of the palyoffs.
Another win on Saturday. The team over came the heat and the St. Anne festival fatigue to bring home another win over the Saints. On Friday, we play for the division championship.
