Congratulations to Chief Buckner on being recognized by the Houston Home Journal as a Hometown Hero!
As the Warner Robins Fire Department’s Assistant Fire Chief of Training, Chief Buckner plays a vital role in preparing and developing the next generation of firefighters. His dedication to training, mentorship, and ensuring our personnel are equipped to serve the community safely and effectively has a lasting impact on both our department and the citizens we protect.
We are proud to see him receive this well deserved recognition. Congratulations, Chief Buckner!
A chance encounter with a coworker led Michael Buckner from RV repair to Hurricane Katrina search and rescue — and he never looked back.
