Happy Sunday!

We got approximately 2.5 inches of rain in about an hour yesterday evening. We were not home when the rain started, so all the animals jammed themselves into one small stall of the barn. Animals were not thrilled. But hey, fingers crossed our well is filling up.

Thank you, everyone, for the birthday wishes! It was a great day.

But today it's back to business. This cutie and I are set up at Cabot Farmer's Market with bouquets (if you need veggies, we will have them out at the farm), but stop by if you are in town 8-Noon at the Railyard in Cabot.

Birthdays always make me reflect.

At 24, married with three kids ages 4 and under, a husband who had just joined the military, and I made what felt like one of the hardest decisions of my life: I sold my two mares, one of which I had gotten in the 8th grade, saying goodbye to the part of me that always felt the most like me.

Fast forward 16 years... what an adventure it's been. We've built a beautiful life, chased dreams I never imagined possible, but there was always a piece missing.

I promised myself that by the time I turned 40, I'd own a horse again. Somehow, that dream came true!!!

Today, I'm living the life I always felt like I was meant to live. It hasn't always been easy, but every hard season helped lead me here. Looking back, I'm incredibly thankful I never gave up on that dream, so don't give up on yours!!
