🫧I don’t know how many times I’ve received messages or come across a FB post of potential clients asking, “how much do you charge for a deep clean?”

🧼They typically act irritated when I tell them that I would have to take a look first to give an accurate quote, as if there is some cookie cutter version of what a deep clean entails.

🧹The truth is, there is no such thing. Take for example this home: 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1600 square feet. By the average of around .25 cents a square foot, that would calculate to around $400.

Ok, BUT….

🛀 Not all people have the same standard of what “clean” really is. Someone out there thought this was an acceptable way to move out of a home. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is absolutely filthy, and be thankful that you can’t smell what we smell through your phone. We are 10 man hours into it and have probably 2 more days before it is finished. To charge based on square footage and number of bathrooms alone is doing a disservice.

🫧 So you see, that’s why giving a general number is so hard for a cleaner to do, because we never know what we’re going to walk into and there are just too many variables to consider before putting a general price tag on the work we do.

🛀 We are grateful and love to serve our clients, and aren’t afraid of hard work, but please understand that our assignments are all unique in their own way, and you can’t put a generic price on letting Someone Else do it! 💪💪
