What were your librarians up to at Staff Day? On March 27th, WPL closed to the public for Staff development, which included a tour of our new bookmobile and a visit to the newly opened Belmont Public Library.

THURS, 4/16, 6:30-8PM, LECTURE HALL: Design unique clothing, accessories and more by painting and stenciling onto fabric! Bring your own shirt, tote bag or any fabric piece you’d love to customize! Local artist Matt Mello will be leading the group to help bring your artistic vision to life. Come join us for a fun night!

The Gingerbread Cottages of the MVCMA in Oak Bluffs are a National Historic Landmark: a collection of over 300 colorful, 19th-century Carpenter Gothic-style homes known for their
fairytale-like woodwork, vibrant paint, intricate designs and gardens.

Nancy Manzon D'Ercole of The Waltham Garden Club will talk about the fascinating history of this landmark, these special cottages and their beautiful gardens!
