Father's Day 2026 06/22/2026

Holy ca-moly, what a fun Sunday this was yesterday.

We celebrated Father’s Day, welcomed the first Sunday of summer, and began our new sermon series, “Summer Camp Lessons.” Music and love filled the air, and we grew together in the Spirit.

Our children delivered the most incredible Father’s Day gift. No, really, you don’t want to miss it. And our choir blessed us with “Come, Christians, Join to Sing” as the introit, “As the Deer” as the anthem, and “The Lord Bless You and Keep You with Sevenfold Amen” as the sung response.

Watch this if you’re ready to get into the spirit of summer and be lifted up.

Many thanks to the rest of our worship leaders:
-Jenelle Henderson for serving as liturgist
-Julianna Amezcua
-Mikaela Hill for recording the service
-Nico Marucut for being our accompanist
-Jeff Chamlee for providing the beautiful altar flowers in honor of Father's Day and the Summer Solstice
-And Jeff and Carol Chamlee for providing the delicious treats for coffee hour!

Graduation Sunday 06/08/2026

What a beautiful Graduation Sunday it was this morning as we honored and celebrated all of our graduates!

Timely for the occasion, our centering passage was Ecclesiastes 3, the beloved passage about seasons. There are certainly some seasons of life that feel more exciting than others, aren’t there? Sometimes we wish we could return to a season that sparkles in our memory, or fast-forward to a season we’re eagerly anticipating. But the wisdom of Ecclesiastes reminds us that no season is more holy than another. God meets us in every season.

The choir also blessed our worship with “Let All the World in Every Corner Sing” as the introit, “Remember His Love” as the anthem, and “My Tribute” as the sung response. It was also Communion Sunday, when we came to the table together and received the sacrament.

Tune in to listen, learn, reflect, and grow.

Many many thanks to the rest of our worship leaders!

Mother's Day, 2026 05/12/2026

Yesterday, we shared in a delightful celebration of love, care, and nurture. During the service, the children presented roses to all those who have mothered others—biologically, spiritually, emotionally, or through their loving care. They also blessed us with a special song and poem.

The choir offered “Let All the World in Every Corner Sing” as the introit and “God Is So Good” as the anthem, featuring a solo by Elainah Wu.

Pastor Lydia preached on John 10:1–10, where Jesus teaches us how to discern the voices we follow, the paths we choose, and the next faithful steps in our lives.

Tune in to worship together, reflect, and celebrate the many mothers and mothering figures in our lives.
