After a year of having the battery wedged in between fuel evap hump in spare tire well the battery finally found its perminent resting place. The next step will be to cut out a wood insert carpet it and install it. The goal is to have a level surface all the way around. Not sure what I will do with available space. For rust protection I used 3M rubberized undercoating on exterior and then rustoleum primer for the interior.
