Bowman Ranch eggs come from free-range hens and are gathered fresh from the nesting box to the carton, then straight to your refrigerator. They are unwashed and left in their natural state, just as they were laid. This preserves the protective bloom and keeps them as close to nature as possible. There are no extra steps, no artificial coloring, and no unnecessary handling. What you get is an honest egg, the way it was meant to be.

Our birds are raised with care, given room to roam, and allowed to live as chickens should. That quality shows in every carton. Rich yolks, strong shells, and a flavor that speaks for itself.

Our hens roam free beneath open skies, living as God created them and intended. In that freedom, they thrive. And in their thriving, they produce eggs that are rich, nourishing, and full of real flavor you can taste.

Fed with locally sourced grains from the Columbia Basin and Touchet Valley, every egg carries the character of this land, simple, natural, and rooted in something real.

Bowman Ranch is about more than what we produce today. It’s about rebuilding something lasting. A return to honest practices, hard work, and a way of life that values where food comes from and how it’s raised.

🌱 A Sweet Chapter Comes to a Close 🌱

We want to take a moment to recognize Kirk and Nancy Klicker and the incredible legacy of Klicker’s Strawberries. After 107 years in the strawberry business and 44 years dedicated to mentoring and enriching the lives of local youth they have decided to close the commercial strawberry chapter of their story.

Through the years generations of young “Klicker Pickers” have experienced the joy of strawberry season while learning valuable life lessons. Continuing the business became unsustainable due to challenges imposed by government regulations, crop timing issues, and changing business realities. With decades of experience behind them Kirk and Nancy are stepping into whatever comes next with grace and gratitude.
Frozen strawberries from Klicker’s will still be available at the retail store until inventory runs out. The Klicker Store itself remains open for seasonal produce, pumpkins, Christmas trees, gifts, and antiques so make sure to stop by and support this long-standing family business.

Stories like this hit close to home for us at Bowman Ranch. The first Bowman Ranch in California was purchased by the government when the valley was flooded to create Bowman Lake. Small farms across the country face challenges from local, state, and federal rules, making it harder to keep traditions alive and preserve a way of life. Klicker’s decision reminds us that farming is about more than crops, it is about family, community, and legacy.
