💧 Stay Hydrated This Summer! ☀️
As we age, our sense of thirst naturally decreases, making dehydration easier to miss. Staying hydrated supports energy, brain function, digestion, and joint health while helping prevent issues like fatigue, headaches, confusion, and falls.
Make water a daily priority and help yourself or your loved ones stay healthy, safe, and active all summer long.
Drink up!

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
At ABC Home Healthcare, our team is trained to recognize the signs of elder abuse, neglect, self-neglect, and financial exploitation.
But you don't need to be a healthcare professional to speak up when something doesn't seem right.
If you are concerned about the safety or well-being of an older adult, trust your instincts. A conversation or phone call could help connect someone with the support and resources they need.
In Massachusetts, concerns regarding abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or financial exploitation of adults age 60 and older can be reported 24 hours a day to the Elder Abuse Hotline at 1-800-922-2275. Anyone can make a report, and reports may be made anonymously.
Together, we can help older adults remain safe, respected, and supported in their communities.
